"I recently had an interview with a large government agency that is starting to rebuild its database capability with SS 2005. They started with 20 questions about SQL Server technology, and it was like a review of your classes. Then they went to some hands-on testing. Afterward, they reviewed my SetFocus Portfolio, which I have filled with examples and screenshots of my work with SetFocus. Their chief database engineer questioned me at length about my training and then said that he had never met or interviewed anyone who had such a broad grasp of SQL Server 2005 and its capabilities. He asked me what my "secret" was. My answer was, "An instructor named Darshan Mehta." Then I explained about the course, and about how well you presented it and really drilled us is SQL Server development and management...Thanks!"

"I just wanted you to know that I took my new shiny resume to my local Work Force One office, something about they needed to update my files since coming home. Anyways I showed my resume to their resume person and at first she said she hates MOST resumes she gets and claims to be able to make them better. I showed her mine and she said she liked it and that she wished more people could build better resumes. I told her that was just one of the many things that I was given from Set Focus.

"I hope that my own experience can help guide others in making a decision about SetFocus. In the end, you have to do what’s best for you based on the opportunities that you are presented with. My experience with Setfocus has only increased those opportunities – which is all I ever asked for. The time and money spent on Setfocus was not trivial. It was a major decision in my life at the time. The premium/investment I spent going to Setfocus, has since been repaid to me many times over specifically due to the knowledge I gained there.

I will be starting to work on Monday at The Medicines Company at 8 Campus Dr which is very near at SetFocus.

"I've been here for about 3 weeks now. I'm learning a lot and making a lot of good connections. I work for a company called Silkroad technology. This is the first time in a long time that I don't struggle to get out of bed in the mornings to get to work. I had to move about an hour away from Charlotte to take the job but it's a great place and there is a lot of room for potential to grow. "I had three offers last week from three prominent companies. I'll be starting work for Fenwick Technologies in Washington, PA on 20 August 2007. I owe SetFocus and all the people there for my success. Thank you all.
I'm doing great. I'm in training for the first two weeks at the headquarters. The training is
actually a ramp up to get up to speed on the project, tools and .NET Framework 3.0 functionality. The project is using Windows Communication Foundation web services and
Windows Work Flow. In addition, many other new technologies and techniques
are being tested to see how they could better the system (i.e. AJAX,
ontology).
I'm doing what I wanted to do and using new products, techniques,
technologies and processes. So yes, I'm happy with where I'm at.
