Introduction The course primarily focuses on dimensional modeling, considerations and common pitfalls in the design process. Case studies from several industries will be discussed from a design perspective to give the participants a broad framework of understanding of the dimensional modeling process.

PrerequisitesBefore attending this course, students are expected to have: - Good understanding of basic data warehousing concepts such as dimensions, measures etc.
- Working knowledge of Transact-SQL.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
- Some experience with database design.
