Tech recruiter identifies areas experiencing booming job opportunities

Speaking recently about his highly popular "Pure and Shameless" technology networking social, Tampa Bay-based IT jobs recruiter Fritz Eichelberger identified several areas of the market that are experiencing a boom in opportunities, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Eichelberger said developer careers and opportunities for business intelligence professionals are abundant right now. He added that clients are regularly receiving "three, four or five" job offers at one time in these areas.

And the need for these types of IT employees has companies actively recruiting candidates.

"Lots of firms were there looking to hire," Eichelberger told the Tribune about his most recent technology networking social.

Eichelberger also said that careers in healthcare IT - with the recent push to electronic health records - are atop his list of "jobs most likely to stay hot for decades." Healthcare organizations will need tech-savvy employees to help them go paperless.

A separate recent report backed up Eichelberger's claims, at least in terms of business intelligence careers. According to the Corporate Executive Board, companies will look to fill more positions in this area next year as they move ahead in their business intelligence initiatives.
