Software giant Microsoft on Tuesday announced the May 1 release of Dynamics GP 2010, saying that the new program will improve the options available to midsized businesses looking for an enterprise resource planning solution.
Microsoft Dynamics ERP general manager Crispin Read said that "by combining the power of business applications and productivity applications, we're able to support how people really work in their everyday jobs. Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 is an excellent choice for companies experiencing growing pains with their current accounting software and looking for a solution that can scale."
SharePoint developers will see increased interoperability between their systems and those of Dynamics GP 2010, the company said, asserting that the new software will ease access to important information contained in either framework.
The pending release of Dynamics GP 2010 is the latest in a long recent string of new Microsoft products. The company has already released a new version of SharePoint and is set to roll out a much-anticipated new iteration of its widely used Office productivity suite.
