Microsoft releases security solutions for Word, SharePoint collaboration

With the releases of both Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010, the company has also made available its security solutions meant to make collaboration between the programs seamless and secure. Both the Active Directory Federation Services 2.0 and Forefront Protection for SharePoint will help users create and deploy enterprise solutions without hesitation.

Both solutions integrate into the programs with ease and prevent security breaches. As workers share files between Word and SharePoint, the solutions work to ensure that the information that goes from one program to the next is secure and safely downloaded.
