Intensive SharePoint training required to achieve best results

Microsoft's newest edition of SharePoint is due out on May 12. Noel Williams, managing director of Australian IT applications creator MacroView, believe that SharePoint 2010 is the best version released by the company, but that developers must be have in-depth SharePoint training to achieve the best results, according to Image & Data Manager.

SharePoint 2010 offers a platform that is both highly user friendly and capable of creating business solutions that can greatly improve efficiency. Williams believes that the programs created will make businesses more efficient in several ways. The programs are smaller, so companies can store more on their hard drives while creating and using world-class BI solutions.

"The new release, SharePoint 2010, will provide an even better platform for creating document management solutions - solutions that are decidedly easier to manage, that provide much greater storage capacity and more DM features and functionality," Williams wrote for the news provider.

The growing popularity of other products and operating systems made Microsoft's newest software releases especially important. When the company released the programs in beta in February, it used the feedback of several companies to improve them before recently releasing them to the manufacturer.
